SALES/PROJECT MANAGER

Job Description:
The applicant selected will be responsible for selling and managing products and services. Responsibilities include creating and coordinating job schedules and representing the company as a dependable and competent project manager at job kick-off/progress meetings. In addition, the applicant will implement change orders as required and oversee contract progress billings, as well as other essential duties and responsibilities.

Job Requirements:
To perform this job successfully, the ideal applicant will either hold a bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university, or have five year’s related experience and/or training, or have an equivalent combination of education and experience as a project manager in the fire protection industry. In addition, the applicant must have extensive knowledge of the most up-to-date NFPA codes and standards, and a comprehensive background in all areas of the fire protection industry’s technological advances. Applicant must also be a self-motivator with strong verbal and written communication skills; possess strong computer skills; posses excellent organizational and time management skills; and be a “team player.”

SPRINKLER DESIGNER

Job Description:
The applicant selected will plan and lay out fire sprinkler systems using architectural drawings to develop fire sprinkler drawings and calculations. Responsibilities include producing accurate and effective construction plans for the purpose of generating material deliveries and field installation. Upon completion of drawings and receipt of all required approvals, designers prepare an accurate stock listing of all materials required for the project and requisition same.

Job Requirements:

The ideal applicant should have completed a two to four-year college or university degree/certificate program; or have two to four years of related experience and/or training; or have an equivalent combination of education and experience. NICET level II is a plus.

FITTER

Three to five years experience installing various types of fire sprinkler systems.
Working on or completed the AFSA apprenticeship program.
Experienced with installing pumps, reading blueprints, and familiar with all other components of sprinkler systems.
Willingness to take orders and work with others.
Must have a valid driver’s license that will be approved by the company.
Must be willing to travel to any location at the request of the company.

FOREMAN

Five to ten years experience installing various types of fire sprinkler systems.
Working on or completed the AFSA apprenticeship and Leadership Ladder programs.
Experienced with installing pumps, reading blue prints, and familiar with all other components of sprinkler systems.
Must have the ability to train fitters and helpers in all aspects of the installation of fire sprinkler systems.
Must have a valid driver’s license that will be approved by the company.
Must be willing to travel to any location at the request of the company.
